To rent a product from Appliances On Rent, the customer must:

- Provide accurate and complete information during the ordering process.
- Provide valid identification or documentation when requested.
- Provide a valid delivery address within our serviceable area.
- Be capable of entering into a legally binding rental agreement.
- Agree to pay all applicable rental charges, deposits, delivery charges, installation charges, taxes, and other applicable fees.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a rental request if the information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified.

Product Availability

All products displayed on the website are subject to availability.

Displaying a product on the website does not guarantee that the product will be available for rental at the time of booking.

In case the selected product becomes unavailable, we may:

- Reschedule delivery.

Any alternative product will be provided only with the customer’s agreement.

If the customer wishes to continue using the product after the agreed rental period, the rental may be extended subject to product availability and applicable rental charges.

An extension should be requested before the original rental period expires.

Rental Charges and Payments

The customer agrees to pay the applicable rental charges displayed or communicated at the time of booking.

Depending on the product and rental plan, the customer may also be required to pay:

- Refundable security deposit.
- Delivery charges.
- Installation charges, where applicable.
- Pickup charges, where applicable.
- Applicable taxes.
- Late payment charges.

Security Deposit

The security deposit may be refunded after the product is returned and inspected, subject to:

The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded according to the applicable refund process.

Delivery

We provide delivery services in selected locations and serviceable areas.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on:

- Customer location.
- Product availability.
- Delivery schedule.
- Traffic and weather conditions.
- Operational circumstances.
- Address accessibility.

The customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.

The customer should ensure that someone is available at the delivery location to receive the product.

If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, customer’s unavailability, restricted access, or other circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery or rescheduling charges may apply.

Installation

Installation is provided for selected products where applicable.

Installation requirements may differ depending on the product.

For appliances such as ACs, washing machines, geysers, water purifiers, or other products requiring specialized installation, the customer must provide suitable premises and required basic utilities unless otherwise agreed.

Any structural work, electrical modification, plumbing modification, drilling, additional accessories, or other work outside the standard installation scope may attract additional charges.

The customer will be informed about applicable additional charges where reasonably possible before such work is carried out.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

- Using the rented product carefully and appropriately.
- Following the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions.
- Keeping the product at the agreed rental address unless permission is obtained.
- Preventing unauthorized persons from damaging or misusing the product.
- Keeping the product reasonably clean and maintained.
- Reporting malfunction, damage, or other issues promptly.
- Returning the product with its accessories and components.
- Making rental payments on time.

The customer must not use the product for any illegal, hazardous, or unauthorized purpose.

Prohibited Use

Customers must not:

- Sell, sub-rent, transfer, or lend the rented product to another person without permission.
- Remove, alter, or tamper with product identification labels or serial numbers.
- Modify the product without prior authorization.
- Attempt unauthorized repairs.
- Use the product for illegal activities.
- Deliberately damage or misuse the product.
- Move the product to another location without prior approval where such movement could affect delivery/pickup or serviceability.

Any unauthorized modification or misuse may result in additional charges and/or termination of the rental.

Maintenance and Repairs

Customers should contact Appliances On Rent if a rented product develops a technical issue during the rental period.

Where the issue results from normal use or a product-related technical fault, we may arrange inspection, troubleshooting, repair, or replacement, subject to the nature of the issue and applicable service conditions.

Damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized repair, accident, liquid damage, electrical issues caused by unsuitable power supply, physical damage, pests, or other customer-related causes may be chargeable.

Customers should not attempt major repairs themselves or engage unauthorized technicians without prior approval.

Replacement of Products

If a rented product develops a significant technical problem and cannot reasonably be repaired, Appliances On Rent may, at its discretion and subject to availability:

- Repair the product.
- Replace the product with the same or similar model.
- Provide an alternative product.
- Take another reasonable corrective action.

Replacement products may not always be identical in brand, color, design, or model but will generally be selected based on comparable functionality where reasonably possible.

Damage, Loss, or Theft

The customer is responsible for the rented product throughout the rental period.

If a product is damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident, unauthorized modification, or improper handling, the customer may be responsible for the applicable repair or replacement cost.

In case of loss or theft of the rented product, the customer may be required to pay the applicable replacement value or other charges specified under the rental agreement.

Normal wear and tear resulting from ordinary and reasonable use will generally not be treated as customer-caused damage.

Return and Pickup

At the end of the rental period, the customer must make the product available for pickup according to the agreed schedule.

The product should be returned in reasonable condition along with all accessories, components, remotes, cables, keys, manuals, or other items supplied with it.

If the customer fails to make the product available for pickup, additional rental or rescheduling charges may apply.

Products should not be returned through third-party transport or courier services unless specifically approved by Appliances On Rent.

Early Return

Customers may request early termination or return of a rented product.

Early return does not automatically guarantee a refund of unused rental charges.

Any refund or adjustment will depend on the applicable rental plan, agreement, cancellation policy, and charges already incurred.

Customers should contact us before returning a product early to understand the applicable terms.

Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of a rental order before delivery.

Cancellation charges, if applicable, may depend on:

Once a product has been delivered or installed, cancellation may be treated as an early return and may be subject to applicable charges.

An extension is not considered confirmed until it has been accepted by Appliances On Rent.
